PAKISTANI TRUCK ART PAINT PARTY! @MELTDINER. DIDSBURY.

We are the Creative society Manchester, we hold unique art, craft & wellbeing sessions across the city of Manchester! 

Introducing our first 'Pakistani truck art' painting workshop! The 14th of August marks Pakistani independence day, and what better way to mark the occasion than honoring this beautiful traditional art!

Truck art is traditional Pakistani folk art which represents the dreams, inspirations and hobbies of the Pakistani people and their artists.

You will arrive to your painting station all set up, with your art already sketched onto your canvas so you can take your time making it personal, with your colour and designs of choice, guided by us.

Paint along to the music & enjoy delicious food, good company and a party vibe!

• This session is suitable for absolute beginners, as well as more experienced artists!
• All equipment including brushes, paints, easels and craft tools.
• Your canvas to paint & then take home and hang proudly!
• Aprons & berets to get you into the arty vibe.
• Your friendly instructors to guide & prompt you.
• Art examples for inspiration.

Set in the ultra Instagrammable MELT DINER in Didsbury, who boast a delicious menu including Pakistani treats and karak! As well as endless photo spots, the venue is decorated with masses of colourful flowers, which are the perfect inspiration for our theme.

We also have the incredibly talented up & coming designer, Maryam Maqbool joining us to co-host! Maryam has created her own range of ethically sourced, quality casual wear, based on different regions in Pakistan. Her newest collection will be available on the day and she will be talking to you about what representing Pakistan  means to her.

Please arrive 10 mins before the class time so we have plenty of time to paint, chat and eat!
