Wellbeing Workshop by the Creative Society Manchester

Paint by Numbers 

We will be painting a large, pre-prepared numbered canvas fabric with a range of vibrant and colourful corresponding paints. There is no pressure to do anything but sit back, relax and enjoy the process whilst you build up your masterpiece! Paints, canvas, easel, beret and apron will all be waiting for whenyou arrive, as well as relaxing music.

You will take your piece home with you to display with pride!

As well as your canvas, you also get a take home your own art bundle, to continue your new found hobby!

Mindfulness

Being mindful means being fully present in the moment, noting thoughts and feelings that arise and  just letting them pass over us. Mindfulness techniques teach us how to reduce stress and manage anxiety, as well as how to be happier and calmer! Mindful art, crafting and creativity can be fulfilling ways of building mindful activity into our lives. 

Creativity can tick all three wellness boxes of achievement, connection and enjoyment.

Venue

As well as the sumptuous decor and relaxing atmosphere, there are lots of delicious hand made chocolate-based goodies available to purchase at the delightful Cocoa Cabana Ancoats as well as delicious drinks and cakes  (Nb. The peanut butter hot chocolate is  to die for!)

Our events are open to all and suitable for beginners, no experience is necessary and friendly, experienced instructors will be available throughout the session for hints, tips and advice.

As disability champions, we encourage you to get in touch with any modifications we can made, or help with access.
